The iconography along the east coast is irresistible, I am forever enchanted by the birds, boats, buoys, salmon nets and fishing creels which remain as a testimony to the hard labour of the fishing communities. Inland, the chequered fields and patterns of plough lines lend themselves to abstract opportunities.
